Ernest has won the prestigious Religious Sculpture Award of Monte Carlo's Grand Prix d'art Contemporan,
for his bronze " Via Crucis ", which was later placed in the Memoriam to Cardinal Medeiros at Boston College.

In 1993 his work; " Murder of Number " Three received the Peter Abate Award in Boston; after showing
at the Federal Reserve Gallery
